you heard me, NFs.

satisfying professions - i say career or profession, not job, cause i don't know any NF who's able to just do their job and come home and detach from it. we are what we do.

do you have a satisfying career? what makes it satisfying?

what jobs have been unsatisfying? what makes them unsatisfying?

what do you think will be satisfying, if you have future aspirations?

Satisfying careers....helping people...for me that's as a coach, group facilitator in an organizational context.

Stuff I don't like...work that takes my energy away...anything that involves too much detail, anything that ignores the human side things and focuses on data and dollars. My worst nightmare....data entry and financial reporting.

stuff i dont like : mindless 8 hour shifts..., stupid work drama ( just to create drama and a conversation for coffee breaks), jobs where i dont feel needed
stuff i enjoyed: coaching, talking to people at a boathouse all day ( i didnt even care that it was at 4:30 am-1:30 pm, 6 days a week) it rocked!
future aspirations: helping people through something or just adding on volunteering.
- I want to be a musician but its tough, and actually go out and start singing in bars and shows.... instead of the compppputtterrr and or painting i love painting.

do you have a satisfying career? what makes it satisfying?

Nope sure don't! Not at the moment.

The best job I have ever had was working as a Production Assistant for a motion picture film company/advertising agency. I got to do a lot of creative things, it was so much fun to mess around on Photoshop for 80% of the day <3!

what jobs have been unsatisfying? what makes them unsatisfying?

I worked at a Contract Research Organization as a Clinical Research Assistant, which sucked ass....the environment was not a healthy one, plus the training wasn't good at all. There was a ton of scientific data involved, not my forte!!!! What was I thinking taking that job....

I also worked in Beverly Hills doing Merchandising, catering to rude old rich bitches lol. Annnnnoying!!!!!

Grrrrr, people should treat people how they want to be treated....

what do you think will be satisfying, if you have future aspirations?

Being my own boss ;). Owning my own business would be ideal.

Currently I am about 40% satisfied. I have been told that I am doing some good work here. ( :) ) So for now, I am just focusing on doing the best that I can with where I am at!

what jobs have been unsatisfying? what makes them unsatisfying?

I did food service in college.... soooo nasty!! I hate weird smells.... I hate weird food getting stuck in weird places.... ISH.

I also hate office jobs where I am stuck in a cubicle doing mundane tasks. :( It's like the 8th circle of hell for me.

what do you think will be satisfying, if you have future aspirations?

I want to be a writer.

I want to get my PsyD degree so that I could counsel people one on one and help change their lives around.

I want to be an artist/designer. :)

hahah i enjoyed that "catering to rude old rich bitches" hahaha i would not be able to do that for long either haha.

ooo business :) you should do it ! I have so much appreciation for people who can start thier own business and business ideas, its awesome and definitely the way to long term happiness in my opinion.

- for people not in your own business who enjoy it, sorry and im not saying that certain types of work are better. just personally for myself thats how i see it.

skylights: it was sweettt because there arent too many issues at 4:30 am outside and i did have my afternoons to play guitar and jam sooo it was awesome and my boss was a laugh and we drank alot of coffee haha :D and thanks for the sweett words of encouragement :D This summer hopefully ill make a little few steps in the right direction :D
