Z can you post a link to the specific test you want us to take for consistency? (and because I cant find the link...Alas)

Also-you may want to check out this series of threads I put together last year-they could be set up in a quantitative way and are based on a different format-thus would allow another glimpse at the data you are looking for.
Same rules-0 if you never use it and five if it it is like breathing. Zeros are perfectly normal. (I got all fives :) )

Ne

I scan the world looking for patterns, connections, and interrelationships between people objects and events
I notice missing parts or steps in patterns
External events trigger my awareness of potential, alternatives, or patterns that provide me with the basis for change.
I see ways to change incongruous patterns, connections and interrelationships
I take existing ideas and link them together in new and interesting ways
I generate usable possibilities for change in the external world.
I am constantly looking for ways to change things to make them better and have little energy for maintaining things as they are
I usually find something positive to see in most situations

Here are all the other functions:

The link is in the word "this" in the first post.

Ah yes, I remember those.

I liked those.

What do you ENFPs think about these scores? Input from INFPs would also be nice.

extroverted Sensing (Se) *********************************** (35.1)
good use
introverted Sensing (Si) ****************** (18.5)
limited use
extroverted Intuiting (Ne) ************************************ (37)

introverted Thinking (Ti) ************************** (26)

extroverted Feeling (Fe) **************************** (28.8)

introverted Feeling (Fi) ****************************************** (42.1)

From the scores it said:
I'm an ENFP
If not, I might be an ESFP or INFP

The temperament ranking (below the function scores.) Say that I'm a:
Improviser(SP)>Catalyst(NF)>Theorist(NT)>Stabilizer(SJ.)

Ah I don't know where you get ENFP from these scores because it looks INFP with ISFP as a close second, almost a tie.

Maybe it's because of your Te? Probably because of your Te.

Mine is clearly ENFP, but I'm always surprised on this version of functions tests that I score higher on Se than Te and Si. It always says my Te is so low.

By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENFP

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INFP, or ENTP

The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Catalyst; secondly Theorist; then Improviser; and lastly, Stabilizer.

---

my thoughts - decent analysis, but Ne tends to pollute Se answers and same with Fi polluting Fe answers. my Si isn't that bad, the questions just made it sound really boring, and my Ti isn't that good, lol. i'd rank approx Ne > Fi > Te > Si > Fe > Ni > Se > Ti. catalyst is correct.

Has anyone noticed that many of us have pretty good Se?

I also noticed that it said my type is ENFP, or could be INFP or ENFJ. I don't understand. My functions are Ne > Fi > Ni > Fe > Se > Ti > Te>Si.

So ...it seems like INFJ would be more likely than ENFJ. Are they seriously going by the fact that Se is higher than Ti? But then why INFP since Si is my lowest?

Nonsense, I tell you.

Yeah, I noticed that I tested well in Se, but I think it's mainly when I am not hesitant at seizing an opportunity, but my goodness, am I completely unaware of my surroundings... haha

No empirical evidence but I think that's from being PeJi. My Ti is higher than my Te and I think a lot of INFPs are similar.

yeahh, i tend to think that at certain points the lines between Ne-Se, Ti-Fi, etc. are kind of blurry, because they operate so similarly, and so Ne usage applied to new situations, especially Ne-Te combo, can turn out looking like Se... and Fi usage, especially with a hint of Te, could totally end up looking like Ti...

though marmalade, that does seem odd that they suggested ENFJ for you instead of INFJ. maybe because your first function is extraverted?
