Fi smiles move upward: ^ ^
Fe smiles move outward: < >

Fe smiles are more limited to the mouth area.
Fi smiles, because the face scrunches upward, tend to sneer a bit or have "marionette" lines and scrunching below their eyes (for bigger smiles). They also tend to have upper lip tension.

    dead·pan
    /ˈded,pan/
    adjective: deliberately impassive or expressionless.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
