I was going to write an open message on the family FB page tonight renouncing my "place" in our bloodline, but I don't feel like putting in the effort now.
I hate that this is even an option, technologically speaking, and I hate the world we live in even more, because most connection is void of just that.
Just make sure ya always have that wifi connection, lest you be left all alone.

Wishing I was normal on multiple levels.

I dont want to deal with the bpd and other shit thats wrong with me, dont want to be different or stand apart from others, dont want to be an outcast. People say Im different in a good way but thats still not something I want. This reminds me of my childhood, I always said "why cant i just be normal"

That's something said only by people who idealize being different, the kind of "different" within the constraints of what's acceptable that is.

ACTUALLY being different in ways that other people don't understand, ways that get you ostracized ( actually ostracized. Not the kind that you do to yourself in an attempt at martyrdom) well that's just frustrating and lonely.

I'm just as much of a cynic as the next person, and what you said is probably one reason some people say it, but I'm sure there are many other reasons...especially since not everyone who has said it is like that. To be honest, I don't feel those ways, either...rather than frustration or loneliness in my experience it's more like pain and feeling like an eyesore, or some kind of disgrace. Perhaps some humiliation is also in the mix. You're right that all of those things you said are true in some cases though, but I can't agree that it's the only answer. When it comes to human beings, "A = B" is seldom accurate. Generally it's "A = B and/or C and/or D and/or E and/or F and/or ETC"

Yeah I know. Just think it would be good if people shared positive feelings on this thread as well. Gets a bit depressing otherwise
