Once upon a time, there was a guy who was nice to people, good friend, he didn’t do anything to anyone. Well, not if you didn’t mess up him. He attracted people to him, but they would end up living him alone. Then, he realized that his life was just fake. After that moment he started to feel depressed. The other kids thought that he might didn’t hang out with them. But he surely wanted to. He was alone. He wanted an specific life, but everything he tried to change, everything that may go bad. One day he met a guy in a school club. He talked to him, he was interested in him. He felt happy just to imagine that they would end up being friends forever, but the semester passed and even if the other guy invited him to hang out and go to his house to try to be friends. He would say no. He was depressed and scared that maybe this guy would hurt him. The semester passed and the main guy of the story left the club. The other guy was yet interested in him and the other guy too. The main guy was feeling happy again, but not for too much time. The other guy stopped asking to hang out, just in the moment when the main guy was more than interested with passing time with him. But the other wouldn’t ask anymore. The time passed and the main guy started talking with some other acquaintance. This guy was in the same classroom the other guy was, and he told him that the other guy was always talking about the main guy. The main guy felt happy, but at the same time immensely sad. The other guy may did want to pass time with him, but he may have stopped asking because he would receive only no’s. Then he started to think if the other guy was really a friend.
Time passed and next semester came. The main guy entered another club, and what a surprise. The other guy was also there. The other guy, all the semesters, was trying to gain his attention, and the main guy would feel happy. They wouldn’t talk that much because they weren’t in the same classroom. The main guy started to feel that he really needed to hang out with this guy. He considered him his best friend, but he was sad that he might not feel the same about him. One day, the main guy felt that the other guy may no be his friend. He was about to hang out with other guys, the ones he met in middle school and some of high school which he was in. He felt terrible. His mind would tell him that he was wrong that not all friends hang out. It would tell him too that he should ask to hang out with him and his friends. But his heart, it would tell him that he didn’t want to be his friend anymore. Then he thought, why don’t I ask him to hang out with his friend? But his mind would tell him that he may think he was asking him on a date. Then he decided not to ask him. The other guy would still saying hi to him and to try to get his attention but he may be feeling the same way the main guy was, and that’s why they may never hang out, yet they may still be friends for life.

Maybe this is another classic example of why 2 people cannot truly be 'just friends' if there's even an inkling of attraction? They can be friends in varying degrees like acquaintances, but close friends w/o feelings? Tough..

What's preventing you from telling the main guy how you feel?

Fear of rejection, maybe?

I also read too many "guys" in the story. Can't you at least make names up for them? Like Bob, John, etc.
