I was at work and burnt my hand and it really hurt but there were guests around so I couldn't let it out, I mouthed an 'arghhh' and a 'F**K!' silently, my stomach shot with pain as I did this. I then became stressed and I could still feel the tremor of internal pain. It didn't subside until I was socialising with a group, I could let energy out, and it was incredibly joyful to be doing so.

I've never had this experience before but it is interesting how energy takes form, changing - bad energy can become good energy; it just has to keep moving.

Yes I have noticed how energy/feelings can be either destructive or constructive. If you just try and bury them, then as a default they tend to be destructive. On the other hand when I trained for a marathon or martial arts I found I could take "stress" and make it/reframe it as constructive.

I was pretty dark when I was a teen. Similar to a goth/punk in ways without too much fan fare. I used to hold in a lot of negative feelings and think it hurt my stomach/digestive system because I did this. Now reframing, especially instant reframing helps guide positive energies. Other times I just give my dark side free license to be naughty.

I am one highly pissed off individual. But it never comes out direcrtly, it's stuck under the surface. My anger is kind of like popping a water balloon with a needle..poke it a little and a stream gushes out. But then you put your hand over it to stop it. (Fi much?)

I eventually cook up my anger/passion into something effective; strength, compassion, etc.

I held in alot of emotion for a good 4 months before, until I got a stress induced ulcer when I was 15, which sucked. I've never been able to turn a negative emotional charge into a positive one or a productive one, thats probably really useful.

Most of my life I had been told it was good to express your emotions and not keep them bottled. However I believed that mostly I didn't have emotions, only anger, frustration, and hyperactive joy. Expressing THESE emotions caused trouble at school etc, so I learned to sit on them. This meant they would eventually come out in outbursts that would be very destructive --- later in life, ending relationships, damaging my property, etc.

The key for me turned out to be to get in touch with, and acknowledge the "softer" emotions that I had never acknowledged. I actually sotr of split myself into two now and allow a detached, grown-up side to talk to my hurting side. By validating the feelings, I find that there is no build up of frustration and anger, and there has also been a reduction in my obsessive addiction to joyful activities.

Applied to the example of the burnt hand, it might go like this... that the burn would cause a reaction and because anger is not allowed (there are other people present), I would take a moment to self-parent, an internal dialog something like

"oh no, what happened?"
"it burnted my hand:-("
"oh dear. you didn't deserve that! Do you feel silly for burning yourself?"
"yes"
"well it was a bit silly wasn't it! but still, anyone could have burnt themself like that. We'll try not to do it again, eh?"

don't know if that helps at all.

ive noticed the same feeling. its incredible. yet bothersome.
for instance, this happens to me alot. sorry if its awkward. but if im wearing my boxers and they feel too high up, or too low down. i just flip a tit. like it ruins my mood. ill get home and rip them off into pieces. i just become so straight up outraged at stuff like that. lol its noones fault but just little things like that make me tick.
or if im going to ride in my moms car with her, and she has something in the passenger seat so its just in my way when i try to get in. ruins my day.

I bump into walls a lot, so sometimes I hit walls. Nothing ruins my day though, except people, certain people can get me really angry and the only thing to keep it all in, is patience. :)

The thought of waiting to slaughter them someday, really calms me.

I don't get angry very often, but when I do my face gets red and I start tearing up. It's pretty embarrassing...and the only way to avoid it is by spazzing out and being over the top outgoing.
