I'll just recycle previous answers:
  • Library
  • Bookstores
  • Walking Alone (observing things like flowers & buildings, when its raining)
  • Parks (alone on bench, with a book, people watching, cloudy days when no one is out)
  • Home (alone with blinds down, hiding in room alone playing music, alone reading, etc)
  • School/Class (esp. art, philosophy, psychology, religion, language, literature)
  • Discussion Groups or Seminars (ie. books, philosophy, politics)
  • Places For People Watching
  • Volunteering
  • Playing Sports / Physical Activity (hockey)
  • College Marching Band / Orchestra / Choir
  • Where Other People Are Not Around (vague)
  • Playing Music
  • Farmer's Markets
  • Poetry Readings

I also have a bad habit of sitting in strange places, such as against the walls in hallways or the bottom of stairwells, or in the middle of my adviser's floor... quiet corners of libraries, yes, and I'd sit outside more but I have bad allergies.

Also, I sit at particular tables in the student center, and I'm highly habitual about all of my spots that I sit in. If all of my tables are taken, I'll move from the student center to library looking for my spots, and if those are taken, to the hallway (which usually aren't taken but people could be standing in them), moving and moving until I find one of my spots that's not taken, or until I find a new spot that piques my interest, which will get added to the bottom of the list of spots, and, over time, might make it up higher and higher depending on its availability, convenience, comfort, and scenery.
