YouTube - Alexi Murdoch - Song For You

He definitely sings this to/about an ENFP. I hope someone gets me like this one day. It's from the Away We Go soundtrack. It sounds instrumentally different on the CD, but I couldn't find that version so you are stuck with the amazing lyrics and the faster version :) Tell me what you think. I hope it touches others as I did for me. I particularly like when he says, flying so you won't land, talking about far away lands, you think no one understands, listen to my hands..

Nice song!

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Great Beyond by R.E.M.
It definitely has a theme of personal discovery/finding wisdom and wanting to share it with others in its lyrics that really uplifts me!

I've watched the stars fall silent from your eyes
All the sights that I have seen
I can't believe that I believed I wished
That you could see
There's a new planet in the solar system
There's nothing up my sleeve

I'm pushing an elephant up the stairs
I'm tossing up punchlines that were never there
Over my shoulder a piano falls
Crashing to the ground

And all this talk of time
Talk is fine
And I don't want to stay around
Why can't we pantomime, just close our eyes
And sleep sweet dreams
Me and You with wings on our feet

I'm breaking through
I'm bending spoons
I'm keeping flowers in full bloom
I'm looking for answers from the great beyond

I want the hummingbirds, the dancing bears
Sweetest dreams of you
I'm looking to the stars
I'm looking to the moon

I really relate to this song, but I'm not sure if other ENFPs would. Although my main type is ENFP, sometimes I feel really I or T, it changes all the time. I feel like it relates to our way of feeling like we can do everything, never really sticking to one interest/career path. And ENFPs definitely know the feeling that it's "good to be alive." But at times, I alternate and hate the world, lawl, so the end comes in, where I feel like I could either destroy or help people... But of course, I'm going to help people and be nice =] It's very fitting how after talking about ending the planet with a holocaust, it just goes back to talking about handlebars, making it seem overall, like a typical daydream I would have, before tuning back into reality. I guess it's meant to sound like a 8-13 year old's daydream? Whatever, I feel like a child on the inside anyway :headphne:

Flobots - Handlebars

I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handlebars
No handlebars

I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handlebars
No handlebars

Look at me, look at me
hands in the air like it's good to be
ALIVE
and I'm a famous rapper
even when the paths're all crookedy
I can show you how to do-si-do
I can show you how to scratch a record
I can take apart the remote control
And I can almost put it back together
I can tie a knot in a cherry stem
I can tell you about Leif Ericson
I know all the words to "De Colores"
And "I'm Proud to be an American"
Me and my friend saw a platypus
Me and my friend made a comic book
And guess how long it took
I can do anything that I want cuz, look:

I can keep rhythm with no metronome
No metronome
No metronome

I can see your face on the telephone
On the telephone
On the telephone

Look at me
Look at me
Just called to say that it's good to be
ALIVE
In such a small world
All curled up with a book to read
I can make money open up a thrift store
I can make a living off a magazine
I can design an engine sixty four
Miles to a gallon of gasoline
I can make new antibiotics
I can make computers survive aquatic conditions
I know how to run a business
And I can make you wanna buy a product
Movers shakers and producers
Me and my friends understand the future
I see the strings that control the systems
I can do anything with no assistance
I can lead a nation with a microphone
With a microphone
With a microphone
I can split the atoms of a molecule
Of a molecule
Of a molecule

Look at me
Look at me
Driving and I won't stop
And it feels so good to be
Alive and on top
My reach is global
My tower secure
My cause is noble
My power is pure
I can hand out a million vaccinations
Or let'em all die in exasperation
Have'em all healed of their lacerations
Have'em all killed by assassination
I can make anybody go to prison
Just because I don't like'em and
I can do anything with no permission
I have it all under my command
I can guide a missile by satellite
By satellite
By satellite
and I can hit a target through a telescope
Through a telescope
Through a telescope
and I can end the planet in a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust
In a holocaust

I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handle bars
No handlebars

I can ride my bike with no handlebars
No handlebars
No handlebars

this song is blocked for my country... cant view which one is it

"hey soul sister", by train. try this one maybe? i think the homemade video is cute :]

songs i love that i think capture some facet of the ENFP spirit...

Ben Lee - We're All in This Together
Ben Lee - Begin (pretty much anything by ben lee, really, i'd put money on him being ENFP)
Mika - Rain/We Are Golden (same goes for mika)
Sting - After The Rain Has Fallen ("desert rose" is good too)
U2 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Queen and David Bowie - Under Pressure (also, neat remix of live clips)
Celtic Woman - (I Am) The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun

as you can probably figure out my favorite songs are positive and pulsing with some kind of deep spiritual element.

Not an ENFP here, but this song always reminds me of them for some reasons...
