For those who haven't heard about the holland code. It's basically a system to measure your interests split into 6 subsections - Realistic/Investigate/Enterprising/Social/Artistic/Coventional. It's there to help people discover what sort of profession they want to go. Various tests can be found on the internet such as...

Also what profession/Degree course are you in?

Odd. Thought that most NFJs would have social as part of their top three. Goes to show that I shouldn't assume things.

EDIT: i'm currently doing a BA in software development, and consider a BA in psychology and a MA in game design.

I'm a chemist. Sometimes I miss working more closely with people. I suppose the results reflect that.

In the other thread I noticed that social was usually part of the top three among NFJs..

Career has always been my nemesis. I wouldn't be able to survive doing what I enjoy, as it isn't 'realistic' enough and there isn't enough of a market and/or too much competition. You can see my 'enterprising' is practically at zero, which also explains why I tend not to actively pursue what I really enjoy and have more of this pessimistic outlook re. jobs, as I'm not one to naturally put myself out there, take business/economic risks, etc. :whistling: And I pretty much hate most of the jobs/careers that ARE available out there (also I remember when I first looked at one of those 2 holland codes, there was like 1 career for it - comparative literature or something. HA! ;)) A bit of a dilemma.

I got a B.S. in Ecology, Ethology, and Evolution. I haven't had a job related to it for about 7 yrs, though.

Realism...overrated imo

Interesting that I seem to be the only one (so far) with a high score in enterprising.
