Default The ultimate 'make the next person solve your dilemma' thread

Sometimes life is too short to think for yourself and you'd rather let some random person on the Internet solve your dilemmas for you. Can't decide what to have for dinner? Can't decide what type of dumb kitchen supply thing to buy? What to major in? Whether or not to tell your S.O. that you'd really love to try BDSM? If you should pick rock, paper or scissors? Solve one dilemma first, then let someone else solve yours! 100 percent reliable and risk-free (LOL).

Should I take a bath or a shower?

Bath. why rush cleaning yourself? Take your time to enjoy the experience, make it relaxing, rather than some rushed ritual.

You just need to advertise this thread more. Keep bumping it until you get the results you want. Make sure it's on the front page at all times. Dilemma solved.

Actually, I guess that wasn't a dilemma at all, by definition, but screw it; something got solved anyway. And it was in the spirit of this thread.

Do I discipline someone else's child, who happens to be in my house, according to my rules or to his parents'? I know how I like my environment to be, and I don't want to have to tolerate what I see as bullshit, but I don't want to cause confusion in the kid, because kids need a bit of consistency when they're growing up.

It's okay to be a grouch and to own it. I don't know what you mean by disciplining them, but you can generally grouch at kids if they're getting in your hair.

If they're acting spoiled and taking advantage of you, then I don't think you're obligated to sacrifice or let them manipulate you. For example, if they won't pick up after themselves, don't let them use your stuff, and don't collect their things for them when they're getting ready to leave. They can do that, or their parents can pick up the slack for them, but IMO they shouldn't be allowed to take for granted that others are going to spoil them.

I don't have a dilemma in mind that any of you is more likely to solve than I am.

So, next poster: What is your dilemma?
