I never heard of trader joes but I agree with you, I'd like it if it was possible to do seasonal without necessarily it meaning sweet, not simply because I've got diabetes but because I dont really like the candified version of Christmas.

The sweets and candy version of this season is far removed from the season celebrated in Christmas Carol and similar ghost stories.

Early verdict on Man In The High Castle, I think its good, although I'm unsure that US fascism would resemble out and out German nazism quite so much, I'm not sure that Vichy fascism did and I dont think that Franco's regime in Spain did. Orwell made a real good point in his own writing that fascism wouldnt look like something foreign and threatening to anyone living "within it".

A way, way lower dentist bill than I expected to receive for my weak ass teeth. I kinda want to treat myself to something now.

    Still Game.

I love that TV show, its hilarious and the theme music/intro just makes me smile because I'll be laughing in a minute or two when it comes on.

I'm done recording all the tracks for a record soon to be released - it went surprisingly well, and my migraine is better.

Wrecked it in the gym, got home and saw Its A Wonderful Life. I love movies and books like that. Cosmic Puppets, The Family Man, name it.

It looks like our highly disagreeable downstairs neighbors are moving out: cardboard boxes in front of their apartment, loads of garbage in the bin, a moving van sized space reserved in front of the house and now a moving van getting filled with stuff.

We are not going to open the champagne until their name is gone from the doorbell though!
