Had a conversation with my confirmed non-friendzoned friend/surrogate brother/fellow ESFP/improved male clone/let's just not label him. He didn't shave. I love it when he doesn't shave.

I have 4 days off in 30 minutes. No plans, no obligations or responsibilities to attend to. I can almost feel the decompression commencing as I write this...
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age. Had a horrendous day dealing with -- or failing to deal with -- a difficult person. But at the end of the day, I got amazing advice from someone close to me, courtesy of their Al-Anon experience. Now, I feel very positive... and strangely peaceful.

Eating lunch after being hungry all morning.
    Having nice co-workers.
    Having a SALARY and BENEFITS.
Having somewhere to stay while looking for an apartment -- and having an awesome person (my aunt) as a roommate while I'm there.

Really, just... Life. Life made me happy today.
