    I'd like one of those McDonald's Southwest salads for lunch, but last time I went there, a guy in the drive-thru window took a picture of my dog (people think its cute), and now I feel weird about going there

    Does anyone know if there is a general problem on the market for avocados (pests, bad harvests, etc)?

    The prices have drastically gone up over the last year and the quality of what's on offer has gone down. A pack of two ripe avocados used to be 1.89 euros at the local ALDI and they now sell them for 1.29 a piece. Other retailers are even worse. This has been a consistent problem with all retailers in this citiy for over a year, so I am suspecting some kind of general shortage on the market.
