Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love

Ever get those moments where you see people in public that you absolutely KNOW you would become solid friends with and mesh perfectly with? I wish it was like when I was young and I could insert myself with no qualms. Alas, life has rendered it impractical to do so 95% of the time.

I have been trying to release more of my softer, more caring side of Fe. My friend made my day. He said, "You're one of the sweetest, most intelligent people I've ever met... you're my hero...you're amazing." I guess I am not as heartless as I sometimes perceive myself to be.

Sometimes I wonder if it's an ENFJ thing to think of themselves as heartless. At least, common enough where it could be a thing.

I think it could be quite possible. The funny thing I care about people IMMENSELY but it pains me to let too many people in because I internalize their vulnerabilities and it presents itself through physical stress. So I am standoffish and come off somewhat cold as a form of self-preservation. I can make people esp. older men (usually in a non-sexual way) feel heard, understood, safe. Do you relate?
