I really like how Micheal Pierce describes Fi/Te as "starting with an inner flame and defending it against the intruding cold of a harsh, frigid world" and Ti/Fe as "seeing the world as a bright, rich place to draw information and experience from to fill an initially sterile and spartan inner chamber".

His analogies and metaphors can be loose at times (and this one could just as easily apply to perceiving functions) but I like the pictures they paint.

So you can sleep without a problem while the tv is running (shots, explosions and all) but when I accidentally hit a dish with a spoon your eyes open wide and you almost wake up?

    Baby logic!!!

I'm tired of forgetting where my car is at the grocery store. Christ.

I've watched all the things! Someone tell me a thing to watch that I haven't watched already!
And so long as you haven’t experienced this: to die and so to grow,
you are only a troubled guest on the dark earth

I want a cool signature like @Hard's but that requires a level of forthrightness that I'm, frankly, incapable of sustaining without a super motivating reason.

How my dreams fracture and crumble before me!

Life's easier when you're not drowning in desire.

A poem I heard years ago keeps going through my head...

    "In the days of old
    when knight were bold
and commodes were not yet invented
    people dropped their loads
    on the roads and
    walked away contented."

Funny how things go through a person's head for no apparent reason.
A student said to his master: "You teach me fighting, but you talk about peace. How do you reconcile the two?" The master replied: "It is better to be a warrior in a garden than to be a gardener in a war." - unknown/Chinese
