I have a technique for how to avoid saying rash things in argument.

Each time you find yourself getting angry, take a deep breath and then count 1 to 10. And only after you reached number 10 then you start opening your mouth.

It wasn't an argument and I didn't feel especially angry but the words I used were harder than they needed to be and resulted in a stronger reaction than I expected.

And yeah, I tried something similar to that.

"I don't want to say anything because it will probably be impolite."
"What do you want to say?"
    *says the thing*

And now I'm starting to get agitated. I should stop again soon.

The mayor of the mainly Kurdish city of Cizre which is currently being taken by the Turkish army is a young woman who grew up in the same small town in northern Germany where I went to school. It'd a small world!

Object permanance baby style: if mummy disappears behind a curtain I keep staring at the curtain because she is likely to reappear behind it.

Object permanence INTP style: If I put some fresh vegetables in the fridge two weeks ago there should be some fresh vegetables in the fridge now.

    So true....
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

TypoC has become a huge bummer lately. I'm going to PerC, see how easy it actually is to get banned. Be back in two weeks, maybe?

For some reason, the mushroom caps here grow really big and sometimes I can't tell if they're ant beds or not from really far away.

Fortunately, I am a very responsible and mature Adult(tm) so this isn't as much of a problem as it could be.

It was early september, and it's funny, I can still remember the smell of honeysuckle all along that forum. I felt like a million. There was no way in all this world I could have known that instant banning sometimes can smell like honeysuckle...
Yes, this is Personality Café. It's about five o'clock in the morning. That's the Mod Squad - complete with detectives and newspapermen. A banning has been reported from one of those great big threads in the ten thousand cviews block. You'll read about it in the late editions, I'm sure. You'll get it over your radio and see it on television because an old-time star is involved - one of the biggest. But before you hear it all distorted and blown out of proportion, before those forum columnists get their hands on it, maybe you'd like to hear the facts, the whole truth. If so, you've come to the right party. You see, the body of a young man was found floating in the pool of her mansion - with two shots in his back and one in his stomach. Nobody important, really. Just a forumer with a couple of 'B' threads to his credit. The poor dope! He always wanted a pool. Well, in the end, he got himself a pool - only the price turned out to be a little high.
