I don't know about anyone else, but Vent reminds me of one big "Bebe has boobs" episode from South Park. Can you "text mute" people on Vent or is that not a function?

Yeah, sometimes if it gets too full it can become a shitshow, and thanks to the ticker at the bottom of the index page, at least you can tell who's in the room so get a sense of what the conversation is like. Maybe it's just a trend or the holidays are making me extra cynical/irascible.

I'm not sure how to do that, but I know what you mean. I have to be a guy, and joke along, but I try to discourage it before I get carried away.
