    I get told i am funny quite often. Mostly - if not always - from females, which means it's intentional and have ulterior motives. (I can be extremely funny or extremely aloof.) Women i am not attracted to don't get to see my funny side.

    I do get repped that i am funny on the forum but not so much on ventrilo .

    A few have said i have a sexy voice. But that's when i deepen it consciously. I should go to a voice therapist to strengthen it.

    Gets complimented on what i am wearing.

    My SO once commented that I was eloquent during our fights -- I took it as a compliment

    someone told me once that they normally don't like people who are friendly and smile-y, but they liked me because they could tell it was from my heart.

    i also had an english professor in college take me aside and tell me that i didn't belong there, and should consider applying to an ivy league school.
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    I'm not sure why but I put more weight on who said it than what was said. The biggest compliment was when a very artistic and creative guy I knew sent me a message saying he was flattered that "someone with work as unique as" mine took a lot of interest in his work. He's very private and quiet so the compliment felt genuine. I was enthralled because it meant so much to be recognised by someone as gifted as him.

    I was also very flattered when my friend called me intelligent and open-minded, it meant more from her than anyone else because she's very intellectual.

    Years ago, a guy tried to commit suicide by taking a bunch of pills. I helped save his life.

    I got a ton of praise for that.

    My mom told me I have a lot of bravery and character once. I recently ran into a childhood friend and he called me perfect. I tend to get compliments from people I just met or even strangers, and it makes me feel appreciated, but the compliments from people I am the closest to or love the most deeply make me the happiest.
