Everyone is so obsessed with zombies.

I'm just waiting for us to nuke ourselves into oblivion.

Hah, I knew what you meant the whole time, I just like to mess around sometimes.

I think it has to do with the appeal of going down surrounded by the decapitated heads of the zombies trying to kill you. You can't exactly fight against a black hole or a nuclear bomb.

Isn't there a line of energy drinks called Zombie? If not, it sounds like it should be.

I believe in a world without end.
All for ourselves, and nothing for other people, seems, in every age of the world, to have been the vile maxim of the masters of mankind.

whether or not you credit psychoanalysis itself, the fact remains that we all must, to the greatest extent possible, understand one another's minds as our own; the very survival of humanity has always depended on it. - Open Culture

I had some thoughts about that as well. Although not limited to the world, but rather the universe. Say, even if earth is swallowed up by a black hole, turned into a sun and eventually expelled and scattered again after a supernova goes boom, every particle that earth once consisted off, is still in existance. In whatever form it may be. There is no true end.
