I love my Heather-pup, but I refuse to repurpose her as an RC refreshment caddy car posthumously. She's an Earth-child like me and to the Earth she will return.

I follow the make scene, there are a lot of people doing things with taxidermy. Quadricopters are a super popular project. So, I guess I'm not surprised. I got over it when I first saw the mouse mouse. Here's some instructions if you care to make your own -> http://www.instructables.com/id/Mouse-Mouse!/

This could be something which could happen to me when I die then.

It seems the folks at MAKE have decided that this goes too far, though:

No, We Will Not Be Linking to the “Dead Cat Quadcopter”

Because we’re classy like that. So please stop asking. Those of you who cannot resist your morbid curiosity are now empowered with the necessary Googlon. Godspeed.

I guess they had to draw a line in the sand somewhere. I can't remember where I read this story originally, maybe it was Hackaday. :/ It was on a non classy maker site, I guess.

What's interesting is the comments showing that MAKE has done otherwise in the past.

Lol. I do remember seeing the mouse mouse instructions back when, and I think it's interesting this goes too far. Like maybe there are a few cat lovers at the heart of this decision.
