i also liked a cute bookstore/bar called two sisters. if you like cheese there's a great cheese shop called cowgirl creamery.

blue bottle coffee is good....ummm....pizzeria delfina is great and i had a lovely meal at bar jules. have fun. SF is a cool city.
very excited for him to go to blue bottle, i think he'll have so much fun
    with the gadgets and such.

explosive chicken! thanks for the tip! so good! i also want him to try the
'fireball' at my favourite sushi joint. i hope he gets super sweaty and makes
a mess of himself. that'd be so adorable.

my fave yumcha/dimsum place is the mayflower seafood restaurant.
really want him to try all the deliciousness there too.

my goodness. so much to eat in sf. will also be in vegas prior to that.
he already showed me the menu of the place he booked. and i picked
out all the dishes i want to eat.

he doesn't need to go to san jose for an asian to serve coffee in the nude.

Oh, the Kid Robot Store is pretty cool, if you like toys. Although it's not primarily SF based.

Yeah, but there were multiple gals nude, not just one. Also, isn't east bay the hood?

I went there one day and almost got shot. To hell with East Bay. My favorite part was right next to the Giants stadium. I would hit the bars around that area all the time. Then, if I really did good at my sales job that day, I would cross the golden gate and go to Marin. They have some REALLY nice places there.

unless you were bothering someone or carrying a large bag of money around, i find this hard to believe. i live in the hood and nobody ever bothers me or threatens me. and i recommended berkeley (downtown, near uc campus) because it's the most tourist-friendly and not dangerous at all.

Thanks for the suggestions. It sounds like a great place and I love food so it sounds like heaven!
