Confidence, self-trust, the ability to trust others without constantly trying to analyze their true intentions. What I fear losing most is hope.

About a year ago, I lost a ring that my grandmother gave me. I still have dreams where I find it and I wake up happy and excited, thinking they're true. Nope. The finger's still bare.

Meanwhile every male you've been in contact with is asking himself "Where the fuck did all these bobby pins come from?"

I'm not particularly materialistic. So even though things tend to come and go in my life, I rarily feel like I've actually lost anything.

    ...Well, never really.

*is thinking really hard right now*

Well, I lost the ability to eat whatever the heck I want without gaining any weight. I suppose that's something.

    Definitely relate to this.

Hmm, let's see what have I lost? Recently, I lost the keys to my apartment...I think I left them in a taxicab, but I had to spent the rest of the day running around the city going back to the restaurant I went to with a friend for brunch, the library I stopped by, the CVS I shopped at etc. looking for them. Tried calling the cab company but they never picked up. The keys were easily replaced but that lanyard had sentimental value to me.

So, if any of you finds my keys somewhere out there in the world...please send them my way

Adolescence-early adulthood. I was discussing this with my therapist recently, we were looking over the time periods and she suggested that my maturity was stunted/paused between the ages of around 12-30... i agreed, (though i was a very mature twelve year old).
