    Default Merits/Demerits of Highlander

    Here's my list of movies that I didn't like.

    I think Highlander was a great movie back in its day. It's been copied so thoroughly and often though, there's hardly anything original discernible about it anymore.

    But all sequels sucked from the get-go.

    I remember being a 9-yr old, watching it on like TBS or TNT around 3-4 in the afternoon on a Saturday, and trying to convince myself that maybe it was gunna get good, and so I should keep on watching, and then being left disappointed in the end. It felt like blue balls.

    I wanted to like it; I really did.

    But, after 8 or so years of giving it a chance (the Series, the sequels, even the effing cartoon!), the mythology just ended up seeming vapid and empty...

    Yeah, it was only once 'Highlander' switched to Blue-Ray format that it thinks it's better than the other movies now.

    Ok so the sequels weren't that good. The orignal was great and so was the TV show.
