Commercialism is pretty much the best thing that's ever happened to Xmas.

Now I can do stuff with a PS3 or a Blu-Ray player, but what can I do with a teddy bear that says "I love you" besides wait for the person who gave it to me to die and stop giving me such pointless gifts...

Xmas is the one day of the year you can get expensive toys without spending your own money...

Bah humbug. Christmas is not what it use to be. To me, it's way too commercialized.

Christmas is way too commercialized for me too, but...we've not had much in the way of Christmas for several years, so this year we've gone all out. Health problems, finances, or the lack of them, my son's impending divorce and so on has put us in something of a funk and I'm really looking forward to celebrating this year by going the whole nine yards! I'm going to do my best to enjoy every minute of it, lights, trees, gifts, and spending some great time with my husband and son. I can't wait!

So, this year anyway, I guess I'm a Pan.

I'm a complete Pan in that Christmas makes me feel five years old. But the actual presents don't do it for me as much anymore, although I still love the feeling of getting someone the perfect gift. My favorite thing about Christmas these days is the lights. The more colorful and garish, the better! I guess I kind of echo Mempy's thoughts.
