It adds a new dimension to the experience.

Also, it allows you to walk silently (other than clothes rustling, anyway), which I like.
I used to go around barefoot all summer as a child and then I steped on a hornet, two different times. I never go barefoot outside now. I guess that was my learning curve at 8.

i only fill up my gas tank to about 2/3
i think of my mouth as a third hand and won't hesitate to hold things in it
i use my arms and hands to express how i feel far more than my face... they're either either in my pockets, folded behind my head, crossed, resting on my chin or mouth, rubbing my forehead, scratching my head/running my fingers through my hair, tapping on something, etc.

I can't remember if I have answered this thing or not before, lol. I don't think I have and I'm too lazy to double check, lol.

I have to check the stove, oven and heaters at least 3 times before I leave the house.

I don't like to kiss my husband when his mouth feels hot and if he has hot breath- I usually ask him to drink some cold water and then I can make out with him, lol.

I like to wear a sophisticated outfit and then throw in something bizarre- like a nice dress suit with Homer Simpson face slippers and that's even to Church, lol. I also like wearing my pink tiare and pink boa, lol.

I like having at least 5 sauces and all on the side per any meal, lol. I'll settle for 2 but I strive for 5. I will not eat anything without some kind of sauce- I will starve first! I'm Saucey!

I hide my mouth when I smile for some reason. It is very much a reflex of some sort- I don't even mean to do it - it just happens without my thinking of it.

After I finish something like a gallon of milk, or a box of cereal, I'll sometimes put the empty box or carton back where I found it.

    Isn't that just absentmindedness?
Or do you like to do it on purpose?

Yes absentmindedness, though I've done it often enough that it should be considered a quirk by now.

What's funny is that my dad has exactly the same cough, and I can pick him out of a crowd as well.
i do this too, but it's with a distinct kind of throat clear. my dad does the exact same throat clear as well.

I never wear shoes while hiking unless there's a danger of frostbite on my feet!

I stick my foot on the dashboard while driving long distances

I never go to class without a hot beverage to drink- even in the summertime

I always sit by the door in rooms- I like the thought that I can leave any time I want to- whether it's true or not

I think that things look better in sets of odd numbers- which is why I have 5 things here instead of 4

My gas tank never gets lower than 1/2 (it's a 37 gallon tank)

I don't wear anything other than boots...ever (except when I have to go to PT)

Will not look at a mirror if there are no lights on.

Not so sure if this is a quirk, but I am horrible with names, to a fault.

I know I have quirks but I can't think of any off the top of my head. Hmmm...
