    Default Career Code Test

    Career Code Test

A person’s top three domains is called their career code. Your career code is ISE.

    Social
Those with high S scores tend to be friendly, caring, sincere, and empathic individuals. They enjoy helping people find their way in life and genuinely care about the well-being of others. Sensitive and compassionate, people with high S scores are often drawn to careers where they can build meaningful relationships with others and where opportunities for human flourishing are abundant.

Valuing human connections, teamwork, and a conversational approach, people with high S scores tend to feel energized when they can see the positive effect that their work has on other people. Conversely, they can quickly become burnt out if their job offers few opportunities for human connection. Focusing on things or data (as opposed to people) is chiefly important to them in terms of the effect these things have on human flourishing. They thrive in careers where they can make a difference in someone’s life, whether by informing, educating, nurturing, or healing others. Almost any task that requires building human rapport is one that they excel in.

Popular careers among people with high S scores include psychotherapy, childcare, community and educational services, education, human resources, doctoring, nursing, and recreation and fitness, as well as all manner of social work, training, and youth work.

    Investigative
Those with high I scores tend to be intellectually curious, using their abstract reasoning skills to figure things out. Always asking “how” or “why” something works, they prefer environments where they can mull things over for a long time in order to arrive at observations that are comprehensive and in-depth. They enjoy observing and learning about phenomena for a long time before voicing their opinion.

People with high I scores often find that they are at their best when analyzing problems and ideas. They tend to prefer working with ideas, numbers, and data, as opposed to managing the emotions of others. Similarly, they prefer to remain in the domain of abstract analysis as opposed to having to do a lot of hands-on work themselves. In short, high I-scorers are unconventional and independent thinkers who like to immerse themselves in problems and data. They often live in their mind and prefer to deal with the real world from a distance.

Popular careers among people with high I scores include mathematics and engineering, computer science, data analysis, economics, and urban planning as well as all manner of academic research and all of the natural sciences.

    Enterprising
Those with high E scores are outgoing, charismatic, and adventurous individuals. They are not afraid of taking risks when they believe the outcome will be beneficial. They enjoy communicating and socializing with others, but their main goal in doing so lies not so much in the socialization itself as in managing, leading, or persuading others to work toward the goals that the Enterprising type has envisioned.

Leadership positions tend to come easily to people with high E scores, as they often find that those around them instinctively seem to trust their judgment and decision-making capabilities. They often have a knack for influence, encouragement, and persuasion, which they use to move others and inspire them to get behind the projects of their choosing. Many with high E scores also tend to see articles of status and power as the just desserts of a successful person who has deployed their talents to the fullest, and thus, they tend to pursue careers that might afford them these things if they do well.

Popular careers among people with high E scores include leadership, fundraising, management, politician, lobbyist, sales representative, advertising, and legal work where the cases are centered around persuading people.

My career code is always some combo of A, I, E or S, with either A or I as the first one.

I'd already be in something resembling a career if I could do computerized drawing worth a darn...

I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.
