Council communism, autonomous socialism, guild socialism, participatory economics, there's a bunch of varieties of socialism that grant way, way more decision-making power to more people than "progressivism" or "social democraticism".

The sorts of personal responsibility in unlimited socialism or unlimited capitalism, both of which in theory eschew elitism, exclusion and exclusivity in decision making or sovereignty, I'm not sure are actually possible anymore. For different reasons. It used to be typical of a few elites, at least in the english speaking world, who were privileged and could preserve it to themselves and their house. I'm not sure that the elites and the masses dont share a lack of these traits now.
