    Welcome

may your garden come to blossom better.
These were the lovely bones that had grown around my absence:
the connections—sometimes tenuous, sometimes made at great cost, but often magnificent—that happened after I was gone.
And I began to see things in a way that let me hold the world without me in it.
The events my death brought were merely the bones of a body that would become whole at some unpredictable time in the future.
The price of what I came to see as this miraculous body had been my life.

Thanks. The garden might survive if I get off my butt. I recently suffered a knee injury, so I can make excuses.

Arguing? They are just being a punctuation Nazi. Besides, I find I learn alot from what most people consider to be arguing. Accepting what everyone says at face value doesn't get me very far.

    Welcome, @fissionable.
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...

    Welcome, @fissionable.
Thanks, Coriolis. Actually, I was responding to Jag's jibe about learning. Unfortunately, inflection and intonation are lost in type.

If you consider the words "keep learning" a jibe, you certainly wouldn't like one of my sweatshirts with those words on it. And you definitely wouldn't like my T-shirt from the Scottsdale library with the word READ on the front.
It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.

You're absolutely right. I couldn't agree with you more.

My reasoning is different but the result is still the same as yours.

    Exactly.
“ they’re on our left, they’re on our right, they’re in front of us, they’re behind us…they can’t get away this time”

"These voices scream at me "Let it go!"
    (never let go)
This time I'm screaming back "No! No! No!"
    (Go on say no)
My mind's made up, yeah my fear is gone
Open my eyes now here I come: Oblivion."
