So now that Elon has sent his roadster into space during what was a great milestone test flight for the space industry of a large size rocket with an almost perfect launch, minor the center core mishap. Do you feel inspired enough to look towards tomorrow filled with curiosity?

Or do you feel like waiting for the BFR (Big fucking rocket) to launch before jumping to any conclusions.

If you ask Elon Musk the one thing he would want to achieve the most of all in his life. It is probably to inspire people to dream big and create the wackiest future possible. Are your invention genes buzzing at an accelerated rate, or are you just mildly stirred until they settle back down?

Musk's statement that he feared it would blow up on the launch pad underwhelmed me. His pessimism detracts from the optimism of the idea of sending a Tesla into a Mars orbit.

His pessimism might be grounded by his history of explosions. He was right to be concerned.
