All the help is written for Debian, like how to interface with the GPIOs for beginners. So I'll be loading Raspbian soon, once my hardware arrives.

Ah yeah, I have two and I'm just running headless servers with them. Still, I think there are probably more packages compiled for Raspbian, but I haven't checked into it. Fun, with all the hardware stuff. I'm going to do some microcontroller dev and I'm doing everything I can to avoid having to get a Windows box going for that stuff.

I went down the the computer shop and bought a multi-port USB charger, something beefy like this (not a hub):

I'm considering getting a battery backup since one of these are supposed to be an external facing server, and I intend to add one more.
