European Spacecraft lands on a comet - historic event!

The spacecraft, the size of a dishwashing machine, lands on a comet travelling through space at 66,000 kilometres per hour (41,000 mph).

No, it's not. It bounced off twice, and thrice, but still managed to plant itself on the comet. It has other issues though, mainly that where it was hoped that the craft would land, is not where it landed. Its location has not yet been identified, but it is stuck in a very dark corner of the comet, which brings up issues about its battery life, given lack of solar energy in the spot it currently is in.

Yeah i know, I was sensationalizing the report of it bouncing for a couple hours. Hopefully they can reposition the solar array.

yay, go ESA I'd rather it were a manned mission to Mars but it is good anyway.
just a reminder, what are they exactly looking for on that comet? was it biomolecules?
