Interesting as I just posted this in another thread! Lawrence Krauss is one of my favorite speakers on the subject, not to mention a very funny, witty guy:

Very interesting. I hadn't seen a thread on this so I figured it would be nice to have around. I will have to look into Krauss.

Here is something I was inspired to Shoop last year when we had a lunar eclipse that occurred on the winter solstice.

I took it to a drugstore photo-lab and had seasonal greeting cards made from it.

The image here is Low-Rez so it loses a lot of the subtle detail. Hopefully you can see the green tinted wisp of auroras near the Arctic circle.

I looked at the GOES west & east satellite cloud images for the indicated time/date to decide where Electric lights should be occluded and thunderstorms should have been at the time. ---------------------------

I have often contemplated what a lunar eclipse would look like from the moon.

Sunrise Around the World

Artist conception of the ‘Lunar’ Eclipse & Winter Solstice as viewed from the surface of the moon. December 21, 2010 GMT 07:00. The Earth and hidden Sun appear in the Moon’s atmosphere-free skies set against the backdrop of the Milky Way (Its central hub in the upper left). Electrical ‘Earthlights’ outline the continents of the western hemisphere where they aren’t obscured by clouds. A few summer lightning strikes illuminate the cloud-tops of the southern hemisphere while auroras circumscribe the Arctic as the Earth’s North Pole tilts its maximum of 23 and a half degrees away from the Sun. The ring of red light is caused in small part by the Sun’s Corona but mostly due to the strong reflection of red light as during a sunrise/sunset as seen from Earth. Due to this brilliant red ring, the moon often appears ruddy in color during a Luna eclipse as viewed from our normal vantage point.

Good videos. Thanks for posting.
I've been looking for videos like the Nanoscale biomaterials. Seems to me they've stopped producing these kinds. can you post some more? (just asking)

I've often wondered what exists beyond the confines of our universe. Are we a part of multiverses, or is this all that we've got, one universe, and no matter exists beyond our own universe. Essentially like living in a vacuum.

This one is very cool, accurate but stylized for easy understanding.

Here is part of the same process in real-time.

That was what gave me a working understanding of what the fourth dimension was.

I don't see the science show clip I'm thinking of (which s on my DVD recordings somewhere), but these are similar:

"I don't see the science show clip I'm thinking of..."

I think you're referring to the movie called "The powers of ten", which was produced (I think) during the 1960s.
