Science makes no promises, rather they give you the probability of something happening.

However, researchers point out that the technology is decades from allowing users to read others’ thoughts and intentions, as portrayed in such sci-fi classics as “Brainstorm,” in which scientists recorded a person’s sensations so that others could experience them.

imagine a world where it would be impossible to lie because your thoughts and intentions are perfectly accessible to everyone. im not sure i could live in such a world...not that i condone lying...it's just that my thoughts are private and extremely personal..as they fucking should be..their my thoughts. or are my thoughts not even my own anymore???

like i said, technology, or progress, for progresses sake should be discouraged...or at least there should be checks and measures..or something. jeez

so
Looks pretty fuzzy. It looks like my dream of creating porno films by recording peoples imaginations will never come to fruition.

That is quite interesting . I wonder if they could refine this method, scan brains on a larger scale, add filters so certain thoughts get flagged and *cue in dystopian media scenarii*.

*what is happening to this world?*
