Java not working in Firefox

I checked to see if it's enabled and it says it's outdated. But when I check for a new version it says the one I have is the most current. It works in all other browsers, I don't want to keep opening up another browser to play games on playnintendo.org. Oh and it is enabled, and please don't say firefox sucks x is better. I don't want to hear your opinion on browsers, I just want it fixed.

Try downloading it directly from www.java.com, the nwer versions run as a background task in windows.

Be careful with java tho, it's very prone to be the carrier of virus

I found a german manual to enable java with firefox. They have an image there, maybe this does help you. http://support.mozilla.com/de/kb/Das%20Java-Plugin%20mit%20Firefox%20nutzen You could try enabling Java under "Extras - Addons" in the browser.

Other than that they say that ZoneAlarm could block it or the firefox addon noscript. Here's a link to check your actual java installation http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
