ummm, errr, no. I just refer to images of space as space porn. My vegetarian friend refers to vegetarian cookbook as vegie porn.

A Martian sunset taken by one of the Rovers (They're still going :party2: )
There is something about images of Mars that make me feel like I am home. A blue sunset is so calming.

Has anyone ever played the game Freelancer? That game has some of the most beautiful space imagery I've ever seen.

Here's the image gallery from Gamespot. Knock yourself out.

It's a reasonably old game and it's hard to find, but if you find it, I recommend that you get it. The game had such a great storyline and I really hope that it will one day get a sequel (that's doubtful, though).

One of my favorites. The awesomeness of this star can't be overstated.

Estimated to be 100 times more massive than our Sun, Eta Carinae may be one of the most massive stars in our Galaxy. It radiates about five million times more power than our Sun. The star remains one of the great mysteries of stellar astronomy, and the new Hubble images raise further puzzles. Eventually, this star's outburst may provide unique clues to other, more modest stellar bipolar explosions and to hydrodynamic flows from stars in general.

The game Homeworld is dazzling, though the designers seemed to have ignored the lesson in Oliver Stone's excess with Samuel Barber's Agnus Dei.

I thought Homeworld looked beautiful, as well. Haven't played it, though.

X3: Reunion is quite dazzling, too. Graphically, it's very impressive, but sadly, it's not a fun game to play.

"Explanation: When passing Jupiter on your way to Pluto, what should you look for? NASA pondered just this question recently, and the response from one space enthusiast was to capture the above breathtaking moonrise. The unusual vista was then actually captured by the New Horizons spacecraft in February just after it buzzed past Jupiter on its way to Pluto and the outer Solar System. Visible above is the cracked surface of Europa's expansive ice fields, visible just behind a jumble of Jupiter's swirling clouds. Europa is one of the largest moons of Jupiter and a possible host to sub-surface liquid oceans that are real candidates for containing extra-terrestrial life. During the Jupiter flyby, New Horizons also carried out scientific observations of Jupiter's cloud tops and comparative images of Io's volcanoes and its continually changing surface."

Is it just me, or does it look like a giant coffee scroll?

And yes, it does look like a giant coffee scroll.
