I predict 3 years after the release when people would actually start buying...and that is if the prize goes down to what computer is worth today. But, the bussiness side might adapt, perhaps in meeting rooms and CEO offices.
This technology has to significantly boost efficiency, otherwise the cost of replacing existing unit would be too costly. Not to mention the remaining lifespan of existing computer...I don't see this product being practical until it could be mass produce cheaply. Alas, the lifespan of emerging technology is often short.

I can only imagine how the pop-up ads will look like for that:
A doctor walks across the screen talking about "Are you like millions of men who..." and you punch him in the face to close, or if "You are the winner! (with money on the table)" you'd have to manually sweep it off the screen to exit. I can also see how the porn industry would love to make use of this.
