VS Ramachandran on your mind | Video on TED.com

Dr. Vilayanur S. Ramachandran is a really cool neuroscientist who works out of UCSD. He has traveled abroad and given many lectures to communicate his wellspring of knowledge on everything to do with the brain and cognition. He uses examples from common and rare disorders of the brain to detail how the organ works and how we gain further insights into its functioning from such anecdotal case studies. the subject is immeasurably captivating for me, and I have sent some of his lectures to quite a few people, none of which (I'm sure) have listened to them :p . So here's a sampling of what he does in video format, about a 25 minute lecture on different brain phenomena such as phantom limbs and synaesthesia. Enjoy and discuss.
