PS5 got leaked on Amazon.uk today. 599 Pounds (750USD)was the price of the console as listed. AMD must be laughing their heads off as they're making the parts for the PS5, Xbox, and they're releasing Zen 3 and RNDA 2 card(s) in October which was confirmed. (Xbox and PS5 launch date hasn't been announced yet as far as I know.)At best Nividia has the 3080, Intel is trying to do some strange hybrid CPU/GPU part for smaller computers, but the surprising thing, to me at least, is that Apple is throwing their hat into the CPU realm.

AMD's CEO is one of the most highest paid female CEOs in the world. Lisa Su really does earn her money.

Any news anyone else has seen that they'd like to share?

This program is different. In Shenzhen, AutoX has completely removed the backup driver or any remote operators for its local fleet of 25 cars, it said. The government isn't restricting where in the city AutoX operates, though the company said they are focusing on the downtown area.

There are frequently road signs with text on it that direct traffic flow, in addition to the occasional traffic cops after an accident or some construction project. As long as the software is up to these non-standard road conditions, I'm all for it, but it's just not going to be the same honking at a driverless slowpoke.

Are you guys paying attention to what Tesla has in mind with these robotaxis here in the USA and Europe? This will pretty much wipe out the human Uber/Lyft driver and in 20 years, the EV will probably be the dominant vehicle type on the roads because there will be regulations against ICE vehicles.

Russian iPhone buyers will soon be prompted to install software developed in that country, setting a precedent that other authoritarian governments may follow.

The law in question dates back to 2019, when Russia dictated that all computers, smartphones, smart TVs, and so on sold there must come preloaded with a selection of state-approved apps that includes browsers, messenger platforms, and even antivirus services. Apple has stopped short of that; the suggested apps aren't pre-installed, and users can opt not to download them. But the company's decision to bend its rules on pre-installs could inspire other repressive regimes to make similar demands—or even more invasive ones.
