I saw him on the actors studio and he seemed I. He didn't seem to deal very well with the audience, on one occasion they laughed when he wasn't making a joke. He would take the questions very literally, and thought about them in depth.

Saw him live in King Lear--spellbinding for 3 hours. I'd definitely say I. Can't tell beyond that but if you ever have a chance to see him in anything, go!!!
