Yes. Anyone can follow the SP style of writing. Why does "good" writing has to have a root in the concrete? Who says? The majority SPs? I can't stand reading novels that spend so much time in the concrete, spinning the picture of what is here and what is there. Here is some writing by Carl Rogers a definite NF.

Crap! It keeps getting chopped off. Here is the site where I quoted Carl Rogers.
    Carl Rogers and informal education

And I just basically said, yeah we can all write in this "good" style. But it's not just the writing. Look at the overall picture of the two, Johnny Depp and Josh Groban. Johnny Depp is attracted to an SP concrete/sensing lifestyle, and Josh Groban to an NF abstract/meaning lifestyle. It's like asking "what do they prefer"? And just take a global, general look. The quality is very different.

(I hope this doesn't chop off again. Thanks for the suggestions Fortunato.)

Alesia, I think there are still some issues with smart characters not copying correctly, if you wrote this outside of the web page editor (such as in Wordpad or something). It can result in replacement of many of your special characters with ? characters, as well as chopping off posts.

I think if you paste the file into Notepad, then copy, it might come out okay. I forget. Or turn off Smart Characters in your MS Word editor...

    Touché?

Edit: Nah, the é seems to be working now all of a sudden. I was sure it still made the post cut.

Yeah. Wasn't using any of this. It had to do with my copying and pasting something from that Carl Rogers site. Thanks again.

For those not around and for history sake, I wrote that post three times and it wouldn't post the whole thing. My best response was the first, but, oh, well.

Lol! Good! I read all of his stuff in that post. Great writing. Yes. I would love to think of him as an INFP, but... nah.

What do you think of Josh Groban?

Uhh...you mean the sound of his songs? I'm not sure what his religious beliefs are. But he's a crossover between pop and classical. He's a very popular Adult Contempary singer. Do you like his singing? Do you see the abstract/meaning of the words?

I say, most writing classes say, most compelling authors I know of say.

It's not interesting to be purely conceptual in all things. Experience, and description of it, in addition to the abstract, is far more compelling.

The INTX was not imitating the "SP style." That was his style.
    Let's do this thing.
