Daria: INxP 5w4 sp
Jane: ENFP 4w5 sp
Trent: ISFP 3 sx/sp
Quinn: ESFJ 3w2 sx/so
Britney: Not a very fleshed-out character; she seems to be there only to represent a high school stereotype: ditzy blonde cheerleader. They probably meant for her to be an ESFP, but I can't tell.
Kevin: Same with Kevin. ESTP.
Helen: ESTJ 8 sp/so
Jake: ENFJ 2w1 sx
Tom: INTJ 5w4 sx/sp
I used to love this show. Cool thread!

When? The only one she ever desires to help is Daria (and even then it's because she doesn't think Daria is behaving as she ought.)
I was always under the impression that Helen's whole schtick was wrapped around being domineering, mercenary, and achievement/success oriented.Artes, Scientia, Veritasiness

She want that Daria be more "normal" because she think it's good for her. She's sensitive, easily hurt and not reflecting enough to be an ESTJ. When she has a problem with Daria, she is warm and comprehensive first before try to be more authoritarian. She has a hard time to understand her daughter, but she also actually try to understand and never hesitate to recognize her qualities and support her. Daria herself, when she's enough self-honesty recognize that she's quite lucky to have her.

I'm an INFP and as a teenager, I naturally fell into acting just like Daria. I think Daria is an INFP who deals with her disappointments in people with dry sarcasm which goes right over their heads, to an even larger *sigh*.
