Agree, although green definitely has more id tendencies among it (lots of instanct driven animals rawr!). Elves on the other hand do seem fairly super-ego.

Black/Blue= The Palpatine

100% percent right. Almost all manipulative bastard evil masterminds are black/blue.

Black/White= The Darth Vader

Not actually sure, but I suppose that could be right. Actually, I don't think I've ever considered Darth Vader's color.

That said, Anakin from the original trilogy is black/red. Actually, the whole Sith order is black and red, with the Jedi being white, green, and blue; diametric opposites and all.

Not actually sure, but I suppose that could be right. Actually, I don't think I've ever considered Darth Vader's color.

Darth Vader, as opposed to Palpatine, doesn't only care about domination and power only for the sake of power and domination but because he also truly think that people need to be dominated for their own good. That's why he want to overthrow the Emperor, he wants to replace his oppressive Warfare State by an opressive Welfare State.

That said, Anakin from the original trilogy is black/red. Actually, the whole Sith order is black and red, with the Jedi being white, green, and blue; diametric opposites and all.

Anakin was actually Red/White. He was impulsive, passionated and reckless, but he also agreeed with the goals of the Jedi Order and fought passionately for it. He thought he was persoanally above the rules, but did'dt especially value freedom for other people, he thought that a dictator put in place to lead other people and tell them what to do was a good thing. When he becam Darth Vader, he lost his recklessness for a dark attitude, far more selfish than the red Anakin who was very generous.

So:

I think they are Green over White. They value nature and they served a natural energy field far before thay start to serve a State, they fundamentally disagree with the authoritarians actions of the senate, even when there's Whites reasons presented. They are rather Green/White.

the jedi were all about rules, they were obsesses with rules, right and wrong and were closed minded to anything else. white first I'm pretty sure

I'm on the fence as to whether Anakin is 8w7 or 8w9. he displays a lot of characteristics of both. I'm leaning 8w9 though
- more apologetic about his 8 tendencies than an 8w7. Anakin feels much more guilt than I can see an 8w7 ever experiencing
- his stress patterns are much more similar to an 8w9. 8w9s under stress are more emotionally distraught. there is sort of an "an angry, keep away!" quality as opposed to 8w7s who just kinda destroy everything apologetically. they fluctuate from 8 to 9 (ex: "everything will be fine my love. we don't have to run away anymore" then 1 minute later "LIAR!!! -chokes violently-"

but I can see 8w7
- his demeanor is exactly like Sean Penn (an ENFP 8w7 Sx/Sp)
- he is impulsive as hell
- he likes intense activities like Pod Racing and starship piloting
- he's quick on his feet and does well under pressure

Ummmm, no, Anakin was pretty red/black (at least in episodes 2 and 3, he could actually be white in the first film, given that he a pure-hearted goody-goody angel boy of pure innocence) from what I remember. Mark Rosewater, the dude who wrote the two color articles specifically stated that he was red/black:

Mace Windu is pure white, or possible white/blue; the guy couldn't be anymore dispassionate or cold, and he was overall more concerned with being a lazy rule-abiding bureaucrat than possessing anything in the way of red tendencies.
