sorry, but which do you mean by those?

He typed Boomers and Gen Y as iNtuitives, you didn't. No generation won't be dominated by Sensors.

oh, I agree for the most part, although generation Z does seem extremely ENFP-ish, so I typed them as a hybrid of ENFP and ISFP

I take it back, I agree with these

but the others
Baby Boomers: no way they're anything but ESXJ, probably ESFJ. they are demanding, rule driven and intrusive.

HEM! Yes they are demanding, but theey are also eccentric, visionnary, narcissic, rule breaking and irresponsible.

I say ESFJ because they're emotional and irrational

ESFJ is emotional and down-to-earth, ENFP is emotional and irrational.

Generation X: generation was more introverted, I'd say ISTP (ISTP or ISFP)

Gen X: matetrialist and pragmatic, or stereoypycal lazy geunge music listener. Not idealistic and naive like boomers, but more fashion oriented, tend to integrate group who represent his tribe and to develop a "cooler than me, you're dead" attitude. Live in them moment, "no future" attitude and not project oriented in contrast with Generation Y.

Generation Y: generation Y is SP of some sort. they live in the moment and have no grasp of the consequences of their actions. they are very much an archetype of the negative aspects of SPs

Gen Y: Generation "why?", say "why" always, internet and technology addict, peter pan complex, compulsive zapper, communicative, narcissic, innovative, irrealistic, and "know-it-all". Don't really live in a moment, more project oriented and futurist.

Generation Z seems like an ENFP/ISFP hybrid to me

The Homeland Generation is prone to be ESFJ. Very communicative, conformist, protective, solidary, and patriotic.

I've changed my opinion slightly to ENFJ/ESFJ, but they are way too imposing and intrusive to be ENFP

ESFJ is emotional and down-to-earth, ENFP is emotional and irrational.
I disgree, ENFPs are usually pretty rational and much more mellow, accepting and low intensity than the Baby Boomers

yes, this is all ISTP

Gen Y: Generation "why?", say "why" always, internet and technology addict, peter pan complex, compulsive zapper, communicative, narcissic, innovative, irrealistic, and "know-it-all". Don't really live in a moment, more project oriented and futurist.
I disagree with the in the moment part. Generation Y are grown children and have trouble looking at the consequences of their actions or anything outside of the present distraction occupying them. they are extremely S and most lack any kind of vision or planning. I agree with you that they are Ti/Fe though and not Fi/Te at all (the lack of Te and Fi is generation Y really bothers me. I know almost no one with any kind of real convictions nor anyone with the pragmatic, implementing abilities of Te). I would say generation Y is STP/SFJ.

The Homeland Generation is prone to be ESFJ. Very communicative, conformist, protective, solidary, and patriotic.
who are the Homeland Generation?

I've edited, but I will explain
20s: roaring, energetic, hedonistic, elitist. definitely EP and 7/3. Sx/Sp because the first thing I think of when I think of the 20s is a Nightclub something akin to the movie Chicago :D
30s: Great Depression, tough, rigid, primary emphasis on surviving and toughing out the storm. ISTJ 1w2 Sp/So
40s: still the depression, but more bold, entrepreneural and innovative. also slightly more sensual. ENTJ 8w9 Sp/Sx or Sp/So
50s: traditional values, professional behavior, confidence, integrity, industry and ambition. EXTJ 8w7 Sp/So
60s: dillusional hippies and rock music. rise of strange cults and mysticism. IXFP 6w7/9w1
70s: disco, parties, Grease, dancing. ESTP 7w8 So/Sx
80s: 1/2 of the culture was just straight up bizarre and the other half was corporatized, bourgeois and elitist. ENFP 7w6 Sx/Sp/ENTJ 3w4-8w7 Sp/Sx or Sp/So
90s: trance, rise of metro sexuals, eurodance, Night at the Roxbury. IXFP 7w6/3w4/9w1 Sx/Sp
early 2000s: rise of teen pop, posers everywhere (thinking they're stoners, gangsters, skaters, you name it) ESXX 3w2 So/Sx
later 2000s: still a fair amount of posers, culture rapidly loosing confidence and assertiveness and becoming more passive, yet emotional and reactive. ISFJ 6w7 So/Sx
2010s: withdrawn, passive, not assertive at all, social media, niche interests groups becoming more prominent. ISFP 6w5 Sp/Sx

Some parts of the '70s culture did have a macho, assertive "cock rock" ESTP vibe but the overall vibe I get from that decade was a more mellow, sensual, "flowerly" vibe, along with a artistic pretentiousness(prog rock anyone). I agree with you on the '80s as being half eccentric half corporate, the '90s though is a extremely multi-faceted decade with sooo many different trends often stylistically contradicting each other, like grunge/alt rock and eurodance/teen-pop both being defining aspects of the decade, but the '90s as a whole was really a reaction against the excessive '80s, a somewhat darker, more serious mood and toned-down, minimalist fashion sense. The '00s was pretty much (in my opinion)shallow, near constant attention whoring, narcassistic, things like emo, the real estate boom, bling bling styled rap, Paris Hilton and especially reality tv is representitive of this mindset. Since around 2008 alot of that stuff has been in decline, probably thanks to the '08 elections and recession, you say the 2010s(early part right) is ISFP, guess who else is ISFP and is the biggest thing in music right now, Lady Gaga, so you might be right about that one:D.

There was also the simple fact WWII was going on, which needed all the organizational and productive skills needed.

Thanks for contributing all your ideas and points of views, everyone.

Regarding society, a major characteristic of the past decade is that Joe Citizen has the tools and encouragement to speak out, rebel and be heard/seen by an international audience. On another level, most people seem to believe they're stars. *coughyoutubeposerscough*

Taking this description of the ENFP into account:
ENFPs are introspective, values-oriented, inspiring, social and extremely expressive. They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events. ENFPs are natural advocates, attracting people to themselves and their cause with excellent people skills, warmth, energy and positivity. ENFPs are described as creative, resourceful, assertive, spontaneous, life-loving, charismatic, passionate and experimental. http://www.mypersonality.info/personality-types/enfp/

I'm interested to hear how you all think we're changing in the 2010s.

MBTI purports to be a personality test, but by typing a decade we give it the lie.
