What do you think was the type of person that wrote this and why?

The Declaration of Independence

Looks pretty INTP to me. Strong observable Ti and use of Intuition vs. Sensing.

I think the type of person who wrote the Declaration of Independence was actually 5 people...

But as a document, it's fully xNTP.

Well, mostly it's Thomas Jefferson + what amounts to editors.

SIDE NOTE: Franklin's autobiography seems ENTP.

I thought it was just me. Reading the text in class, I was looking around if anyone was wording any MBTi letters, but I was the only one with any education on the subject in a pool of 100+ students. I was going to throw my hand up during the discussion, but id rather enjoy their stabs at his personality, his mentality, truthfulness, and his analytical skills.

So as a word to anyone who may think there isn't any use, realize that ENTPs put everything to use and are utilitarian. Everything can culminate for one effective burst to success as the great inventors and thinkers before us, such as Benjamin Franklin. The man's material was cool, slightly humorous, confident, revealing, detailed, charismatic, and all the things I am.

Does that make me eNtP? No, but it does make me like Benjamin Franklin.
