I love him as an actor. He seems to be quite versatile, which suggests P, along with his profession. :p I am thinking ETP. I am going to watch a few interviews on YouTube to study him closer though.

Edit: I saw some interviews, and I find it hard to read him, but let's say I am going with a very balanced ESTP with well-developed sensing, thinking, feeling and intuition. This is wild speculation, I have no strong opinions.

Edit 2: I felt I could sense Ni rather than Ne, at least. Se rather than Si, and that narrows it down somewhat. Actually watching on some more videos I think he could be an NJ. But I feel it's hard to sense anything about his judging functions, but I guess that might indicate his primary function is a perceiving function.

Edit 3: :p During interviews you get the impression he is very hard-working. And I guess you have to be to reach that far. You always have to have great passion about what you are doing. I feel it's always hard to see the difference between a J and a hard-working P though. Any ideas on how this is done best?

He is one of my favourite actors too.

Tell me what your conclusions are. :)
I have no idea of his type, that's why I asked.

ISTP. He so reminds me of my brother, it's uncanny.

The big tip-off was when he appeared on American Chopper. Of all the cheesy reality shows this A-lister could've appeared on, he chose AC. Dead giveaway.

russell crowe is known for totally immersing himself in the character that he's preparing to play. he practically becomes them. so much so that it's actually caused personal problems with those in his life.

i'm not sure if that means anything MBTI-wise, but it may help to eliminate a few types.
