Molly seems more I than E, but still balanced enough to be social when she needs to be. I've only seen the movie, but she's my all-time favorite character in literature. I'm not convinced she's N.

Roger -- not INTJ. I don't know what he is.

Roger's brother (Oswald?) I agree is INFP. Cynthia is probably what you said, although I'm not familiar enough with ESTP to know for sure. Would you say her mother is the same?

Would isfj work better for Molly? I absolutely adore Molly!

I'd say the mother is estj.

I think istj might work better for Roger. I have to remind myself that other people can me great at science & not be an xNTx XD
