I suspect Coleridge too? I could be wrong? an NT at any rate...

Walter Pater seems INFx to me, also Charles Lamb. Anyone?

State - I have a favorite early-film character actor/playwright, a Welshman. What drew me to him was his utterly beautiful way of working his words, in speech and in print. I saw a similarity between our style and attractions to things, yet overlaid with something primal and direct, even when observing. His love for the darkness of night and the moon and stars felt like a mirror of my own, in ways I can't explain. I read his autobiography and he made me fall apart. And watching him move, with a weird controlled looseness like a feral creature, was magic. Bad dark eyes like a wolf paired with child-like enthusiasm.

that sounds like an intense strong identification. right now, i'm looking for identification in these ways too, the weird thing is, i feel this alter ego identification with entps. do you have a type alter ego?

they seem to be in some kind of ignoring run. I will never get it :). It's definitly something royal or aristocratic.

Personally I thinkt its a parallel universe... so that means we've discovered the secrete door to invisibility, Philip Pullman must have worn off on us....

Yea :D. But what to do if they start to whine on us again. If we tell em they live in a parallel universe we got called heartless bastards. It's that kind of epitomes of malcommunication that makes us entps brilliant writers (given we give in in the worlds way of speaking) :D

Umm, considering we know next to nothing about him, how do you know this?

Visits to Stratford and around the Globe.... He was known for being a bit of a lad / risky...

William Shakespeare - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The P type is a guess based on memory of info but not nailed by any strech, but the E type I'm pretty confident about.... he an actor before he wrote, and was known socaliser....

I think although I put the N in, it is a big assumption...

An actor before he wrote? There is no evidence of this. A known socialiser? Well he was friends with Ben Jonson, but I don't know how this makes him a "known socialiser".

English history of the time and the view of actors/thesps/theater types.

He was an actor and acted in his own plays (prfectly normal at that time)... Wiki him, it has a quote tha a critic made. This was how theatre worked at the time... which was a very unsavory profession(women were not on stage at this point and when they eventaully were - they were considered prostitutes). Theatre company memebrs of the day typically did all jobs, so it's not at all surprising.

It's quite unlikey that these types of life choices at that point in time would have him as an Intovert. Theater types were known to be outragious socalisers - look for life in London during this time....

Can this garantee anything? categorically not... they guys been dead for centrues but with some knowledge of history it's not that difficult. Try looking up some tourist stuff for Stratford and around the Globe in London.

Incidentally Shakespear live for a while in Sothwark (pronounced Suthick) which Vincent Van Gough also live for a while. Actaully even today there is still a very arty community.

i bet most of these writers were enneagram 4s, however. not all enneagram 4 types are infps. but enneagram 4 types are the miners of the soul/the self. and bring a universality to man from his most inward life.

That's beautiful.

Henry Miller...ENTP? Really? Always thought he was ESTP. I read him at the same time I read Anais Nin INFP.

I am strangely drawn to INTP writers like Haruki Murakami and Gabriel Garcia Marques, Albert Camus maybe, identical spirits but theirs is more articulate and symmetrical.

Aren't Murakami, Marquez and Camus INFPs? :/
