We discussed her type once already, but I'd like to start over.
I am now quite sure that she is an EXFJ and I wonder whether she is an ENFJ or, like Natalie Portman, an intelligent SJ raised in an intellectual milieu. proteanmix and Littlelostnf (both ENFJs) have previously indicated some faith in the ENFJ reading, but if you will bear with me, I ask that we revisit the S/N.
Interview about Walk The Line (5 minutes)
Raising money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina (2 minutes)
Written interview
Quote from the written interview:
Okay, so it's a quintessential ENFJ quote, but does it disqualify her as an ESFJ? When watching interviews with her, I don't actually see her 'see through' people the way I normally find that ENFJs do; she doesn't seem to be as naturally in touch with and playing to the responses of the interviewer as definite ENFJ Kate Winslet.
However, I readily admit I really want RW to be an ESFJ, so my impressions are probably not worth much.
What say you?

Quote from the written interview:
RD: Do you think you're smart?
Witherspoon: I'm so stupid in some ways. Sometimes I don't get the most obvious jokes. But I think I'm savvy. Like with comedy. I'm not intellectual. My dad is. He uses words that no one can possibly understand nor care to look up. I'm more emotionally intelligent. I can intuit people's behavior and their feelings. That's what I do for a living.
