He is very serious so he's got to be a J. I have no idea if he's a thinker or a feeler but he has clearly spent a great deal of his life constructing this perfect ideology on politics and economics in his head. So I'm thinking maybe T? But then I saw him in person once and he seemed to be able to pick up on people's emotions very easily. He is very realistic and factual when he presents things but you can tell he always deep in thought and I thought that was more of an N thing. He clearly doesn't have a problem giving speeches and talking on TV but he's 72 years old and has had a lot of practice. He doesn't act like the kind of guy I would imagine is looking for a party. But again, he's like, 70 years old.

I'm thinking INTJ is a strong possibility. You mention his age, but he acts very introverted, even in the debates with other 70-year olds.

Ron Paul is an awesome INFJ. Not T in my mind. As many INFJs, he's very logic, but his logic don't lead him, and he's not as cold and square as INTJs usually are, but rather empathic and warm. He follows his intuitions and his feelings above all else.
