I was thinking about Charles Dickens' Tale of Two Cities.
I haven't read the book in a few years, so my typings may be a little rusty.

Charles Darnay: ESTP
Dr. Manette: INTJ
Madame Defarge: ENTJ

Lol. I'd love to have read this book, or even to have seen an adaptation of it in order to comment as I love this kinda thing, and you really seem to know what you're talking about here. I do intend to get to this novel eventually, but there's just so many other things I have to read first...

But Dickens was an ENFP... I wonder if he leans towards xNFx protagonists and/or narrators in his works or something like that...

Sydney Carton: INTP
Lucie Mannett: ISFP or ISFJ (can't tell if she uses Fe or Fi more)
Darnay: ESTJ??
Dr. Mannette: ISFJ or ISTJ (when he's mentally sane)
Madame Defarge: ENTJ.. lots of Ni-Se action
Miss Pross: ESFJ, ISFJ, and ESTJ are possible. She's loving and harsh, too.
Mr. Stryver: ESTP, I don't see Fi in him.
Jarvis Lorry: super obvious ISTJ
Jerry Cruncher: ISTP yup

Man, I know it's a dorky thing, but I love this book!

Jarvis Lorry: ISTJ.
Charles Darnay: ESFP. His whole "I'm a moral guy" thing is very Fi.
Alexandre Manette: INFJ.
Lucie Manette: ISFJ with extra-strong Fe (no offense to the poster above, but she has no Fi whatsoever).
Sydney Carton: INTJ. Not what you'd expect, but I found a remarkably convincing argument for it somewhere. I could definitely see him as a tertiary Fi user. If not that, IxFP.
Ernest Defarge: ESTJ.
Therese Defarge: ENTJ.
Miss Pross: ESFJ. Kind of seems like an ESTJ sometimes but her devotion to Lucie is something I'm not sure I could see from a Te dom.
Jerry Cruncher: ISTP.
Stryver: ESTP.
John Barsad: ENTP??

Cool! Out of curiosity, why do you think Darnay is a Fe user?
